Part of why we started The Fire Journal Project is because we know how lonely and disconnecting it can feel to lose everything in a fire. The grief of losing your home and belongings is real, and we made these Fire Journals to provide a safe space where you can express how this loss feels. Sharing these feelings can be healing for some, and seeing these same feelings reflected in the words / art / stories / pictures / poetry of others can also be very healing. If you feel like sharing a journal entry with others, please contact us and we’ll post these entries as we are able.
